Job Description
We are looking for experienced Contract Video Editors with a minimum of two years of commercial experience working in the Adobe Suite. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing principles, motion graphics, and storytelling techniques. They must be able to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with our team to produce engaging and compelling visual content.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that meet client specifications and objectives.
- Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other tools within the Adobe Suite to create dynamic motion graphics and visual effects.
- Collaborate with our creative team to develop and execute creative concepts, ensuring alignment with client branding and messaging.
- Understand and interpret client briefs, identifying key storytelling elements and translating them into effective video content.
- Work closely with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the overall quality and impact of the final product.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and capabilities.
- Understands and is able to meet deadlines effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of commercial experience as a video editor, preferably in the advertising, marketing, or entertainment industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other software within the Adobe Suite.
- Strong understanding of video editing principles, motion graphics, and visual effects.
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to construct a compelling narrative through video.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in film production, digital media, or a related field is preferred but not required.
