Durango Joe’s just celebrated 20 amazing years with a special two-day radio event on 92.9 and 107.9 The Point! On August 20 and 21, the stations transformed into “Durango Joe’s Radio,” diving into the company’s two-decade journey and its deep-rooted commitment to the community.
In partnership with Hutton Broadcasting, the stations were rebranded for the occasion, featuring content that honored Durango Joe’s 20th anniversary. With ten locations across Durango, Colorado, and the Four Corners region, including Aztec and Farmington, New Mexico, Durango Joe’s is a local favorite.
To mark the anniversary, Durango Joe’s generously donated $6,000 in advertising—$1,000 each—to six local nonprofits:
- Boys and Girls Club of Durango, Aztec, and Farmington
- Big Brothers Big Sisters
- Women’s Resource Center
- 4-H
- Durango Soccer Shootout
- Durango Education Foundation
These donations underscore Durango Joe’s unwavering commitment to supporting organizations that make a real difference in the local community.
Joe Lloyd, co-founder of Durango Joe’s with his wife LeAnna, shared his excitement: “We’re thrilled to celebrate our 20th anniversary by giving back to the community that has supported us for two decades. Our mission has always been to ‘Love People. Love Coffee.’ and these contributions are a testament to that commitment. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who tuned in and helped us celebrate this milestone.”
A special shoutout to Lizzy from the East location and Jarod from North Drive Thru for sharing their stories and enhancing the celebration.
