Hutton Broadcasting is excited to have been part of this year’s Annual Back 2 School Drive, held on August 10th in Durango, Colorado. This event, benefiting the La Plata Family Centers Coalition, was a huge success, bringing together our community to gather essential school supplies for local students. Thanks to the support of our title sponsor, Sky Ute Casino, and many generous local businesses, the drive made a meaningful impact.
We’re especially grateful to Backcountry Experience for donating 140 Osprey backpacks and to TruWest Auto Outlet for providing a vehicle to transport the supplies. With everyone’s help, the Family Center received around 200 backpacks filled with everything from notebooks and pencils to crayons and more, making sure about 300 children are ready for the new school year.
